The purpose of this curriculum is to raise awareness of the dangers of home invasions.  By the end of this curriculum, students should have a better understanding of “fortifying” their homes and know the methods used by assailants to gain entry into the home.  Prevention is the primary focus of this curriculum.  Self-Defense techniques and firearm considerations are discussed; however, this curriculum is intended to be used as a modular add-in to other Hoshin Kan curriculums.
